Hirudotherapy Materials Necessary for Leech Therapy

Leeches are used only once. Normally, after the session, they are placed in a 10 percent chloramine solution, and once they dissolve, the liquid is disposed into the toilet. The leeches are held in glass jars. The water in the jars must be replaced twice weekly with spring water.
